Groundwater Discharges
USD’s Groundwater Program
When no other alternative for disposal of groundwater exists, USD may issue permits for:
- Groundwater from contaminated site clean up
- Groundwater encountered during excavation
Groundwater must be treated for sediment and meet all limits listed in Table 1 of the Groundwater Reference Sheet.
This Permit is a conditional Discharge Permit and approval of discharge is dependent upon available capacity in the sewer.

Permit application- To be filled out for all proposed discharges of groundwater.
Encroachment Agreement- Only needed if discharge will be to a USD owned sewer manhole.
